Terms and Conditions

All content, artwork, images, branding, text and designs remain the intellectual property of Lanson Moore unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchase of artwork transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. Copyright and reproduction rights remain with Lanson Moore.

Artwork may not be reproduced, copied, scanned, distributed, published or used commercially without prior written consent.

Prices may be changed at any time before an order is accepted.

Orders may be refused or cancelled where pricing errors, stock errors or other genuine mistakes occur.

The business reserves the right to update these terms periodically.

Commission Terms

All commissions begin with consultation and agreement on scope, size, medium and pricing.

A non-refundable deposit equal to 15% of the agreed commission price is required before work begins.

The deposit secures studio time and covers planning, consultation and preparation work.

Work will not commence until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Completion dates are estimates only and may vary due to workload, materials, drying times, shipping schedules or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Clients confirm they have permission to supply all reference photographs and materials used for commissioned work.

Minor amendments may be accommodated at the artist's discretion. Significant changes may incur additional charges.

Ashes Into Art Terms

Memorial artwork is bespoke and highly personalised.

Clients are responsible for securely packaging and sending cremation ashes.

Only the amount of ashes reasonably required for the commission should be supplied unless otherwise agreed.

Unused ashes will normally be returned with the completed artwork where practical.

Due to the personalised nature of the service, cancellations after work has commenced may not qualify for refunds.

Reasonable care will be taken when handling all materials supplied by clients.

The business cannot be responsible for loss or damage occurring during transit by third-party couriers.

Shipping and Delivery Policy

Shipping is available to the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

All artworks shipped will be insured.

Dispatch times vary depending on stock availability, commission schedules and production requirements.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but cannot be guaranteed.

International customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and local charges imposed by their destination country.

Customers should inspect deliveries promptly and report transit damage as soon as possible with photographs of both the packaging and the artwork.

Reasonable assistance will be provided in relation to courier claims where appropriate.

Returns and Refunds Policy

Ready-made artwork and commissioned artwork are treated differently.

Customers purchasing ready-made artwork may have statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. Nothing in this policy limits those legal rights.

Commissioned artwork, personalised artwork and memorial artwork incorporating cremation ashes are bespoke products. Once work has commenced, cancellation rights may be limited under applicable law.

The 15% commission deposit is non-refundable.

If an item arrives damaged, customers should contact the business promptly with supporting photographs.

Refunds, replacements or other remedies will be considered in accordance with applicable consumer rights legislation.
